The more grease added, the greater the friction distance. Under the same load, the friction torque of closed maintenance-free bearings exceeds that of open maintenance-free bearings. When the grease filling amount is equal to 60% of the space capacity of the maintenance-free bearing cavity, the friction torque does not increase significantly. This is because most of the grease in open maintenance-free bearings has been squeezed out, and the grease in closed maintenance-free bearings has lost circulation.


As the amount of grease added increases, the parallel line temperature of the maintenance-free bearing increases. Under the same filling amount, the temperature rise of closed maintenance-free bearings is higher than that of open maintenance-free bearings.
