Installation of adapter sleeve locking bearing

Note: Bearings with adapter sleeves and seats, even if subjected to shock load or vibration load, there is no need to worry that the shaft and inner ring will loosen. However, with a tightening sleeve

Seat bearings can not be used in the occasion of bearing large axial load. The preparation work of products with adapter sleeve is the same as that of products with top wire.

1. Install the adapter bushing on the shaft

Adjust the position of the tightening bush so that the tapered part is in the middle of the bearing. To help install the adapter bushing on the shaft, the bushing can be replaced with a screwdriver or similar tool

The slot on the top is pry wide.

2. Mounted bearing

Place the tapered bore bearing on the adapter bushing.

3. Pre-tightened bearing seat

Excessive torque of the locking bolt may cause deformation of the bearing housing. It is necessary to use appropriate tightening torque to lock the bolt.

The locking bolt is used with a gasket, because if the locking bolt is used alone to lock the bearing housing, the locking bolt may damage the bearing housing.

4. Install the bush

Lightly tap the bushing surface straight

5. Install bushing gaskets and nuts

Install the washer and tighten the nut manually

6. Lock the bush nut.

Use a tool (use a screwdriver when there is no tool) on the groove of the nut and hit with a hammer. Stop the beating after the nut turns 60-90 degrees. Be careful not to knock the retainer ring, and also be careful not to over-tighten the nut, because this will cause deformation of the inner ring, resulting in heat stuck.

7. Nut anti-loosening

Bend the tab on the edge of the washer and lock it against the slot of the nut to prevent the nut from loosening.

Be careful not to loosen the nut backward to align the pull ring and notch, but tighten the nut forward to align.

8. Retighten the bearing seat

Excessive torque of the locking bolt may cause deformation of the bearing housing, and it is necessary to use the appropriate tightening torque to lock the bolt.
