What are the materials of square bearing seats:

004Cast iron square bearing seat

Cast iron square bearing seat is a more common type with high strength, good wear resistance and strong load-bearing capacity. Cast iron square bearing seats have low manufacturing costs and are widely used in light-load and low-speed equipment, such as agricultural machinery, conveyor belts, etc. However, it also has some disadvantages, such as heavy weight and poor corrosion resistance.

Steel plate square bearing seat

The manufacturing cost of steel plate square bearing seats is slightly higher than that of cast iron seats, but they also have better steel and rigidity, and can be suitable for harsh working environments, such as high-speed rotating machinery and equipment and high-intensity loads. At the same time, the steel plate square bearing seat also has anti-corrosion, earthquake resistance, impact resistance and other properties, and can meet the performance needs of the bearing seat in various industries.

Aluminum alloy square bearing seat

The aluminum alloy square bearing seat has the characteristics of lightweight and good thermal conductivity. It has good corrosion resistance and can be used in humid or acid-base environments. At the same time, aluminum alloy square bearing seats are easy to process into various shapes and structures, which can meet the needs of different equipment sizes. However, the load-carrying capacity of aluminum alloy bearing seats is low and is generally only suitable for equipment with smaller loads and machines operating at low speeds.

Plastic square bearing seat

Plastic square bearing seats have low manufacturing cost, are highly lightweight, are not easy to rust, and are also waterproof and soundproof. However, the plastic seat has a low load-bearing capacity and is prone to wear and deformation under heavy loads or high-speed environments.

The selection of square bearing seat material should take into account the equipment working environment, load requirements, performance-price ratio and other factors. Cast iron, steel plate, aluminum alloy, plastic and other materials have their own advantages and disadvantages, and they need to be selected according to the actual situation.

How to disassemble the square bearing seat:

1. Remove the fastening screws on the bearing seat. If there are multiple screws on the bearing housing, they will all need to be removed.

2. Use a rubber hammer to gently hit the side of the bearing seat to loosen it. If the bearing seat is relatively tight, you can use a hammer and wooden board combination to tap it.

3. Install a screw on each end of the bearing seat and fix them with nuts. Then, gently rotate the screw to apply force evenly to remove the bearing seat from the shaft.

4. If the bearing seat is very tight, you can use a special bearing seat remover to remove it. Insert the two claws of the puller into the bearing housing and secure them with nuts. Turn the nut so that the claws apply force evenly and remove the bearing housing from the shaft.

It should be noted that before disassembling the bearing seat, the bearing seat and the screws on the bearing seat need to be cleaned. At the same time, be careful not to damage the bearings and bearing seats when disassembling, so as not to affect the normal operation of the machine.
